Riktam Matkin & Gabriel Serrasqueiro The new formation Growling Machines has created massive ripples of excitement in the psychedelic trance scene and beyond. This dynamic duo was created when Riktam (Shajahan Matkin) heard about Gabriel Serrasqueiro whilst on his 2004 G.M.S. Tour of Brazil. Coming from the world renown music label Spun Records in Ibiza - Spain, he immediately recognized the full-fledged talent Gabriel possessed and they began studio production. Thus by pure passion, spontaneity and synergy in the magic lands of Brazil overnight one of the biggest names in Trance was born. Riktam is well established and known for his part in the group G.M.S. (Growling Mad Scientists). This is one of the most widely known trance groups in the world with 8 groundbreaking albums in global distribution. Co- founding the international trance label Spun Records in 1999, Riktam has had a continuously successful impact on the dance floors. Gabriel Serrasqueiro is one of Spun Records fastest rising stars famous for his solo project Wrecked Machines. It all began in 1999 in Sao Paulo, Brazil where he worked in a record shop. There he met up with Dj's and Artists and he quickly began making his own sound. His first release in Italy caused tremendous response and his rise to the international stages was only a matter of time. By 2006, Growling Machines have been touring globally attracting crowds over 40,000 people. And to make matters better still, the first album of Growling Machines entitled "Rounders" has splendid tracks with remixes by the likes of Astrix, Pixel & Space Cat. Other new tracks include the Growling Machines remix of The K.L.F. classic song “3 A.M. Eternal” and a remix of US. rock band Celldweller. And that's not all, the duo just finished a absolute smasher remix of Depeche Mode’s "Enjoy the Silence' All this has put fans and Dj's alike in great suspense.

Atma

Andrei Oliver Brasovean is one of the pioneers of electronic music in Eastern Europe. Born in Transylvania and now living in Austria, he started to produce techno music in 1991. Few years later he focused his productions mostly on goa and trance music. Known around the globe for his unique style and his "full live" performances,.... and with more than 18 years of electronic music production, and hundreds of live performances on both: techno & trance scene, ATMA made his entrance between the most established names in the electronic music scene. With his long musical background and the experience of working other musical styles he developed a totally unique style of trance music. Deep melodies, perfect harmonies, psychedelic sounds and pumping basslines, it's his "new definition" of the trance dance music. After the great success of his first two solo albums, “Beyond Good & Evil” (Geomagnetic.Tv) and "The Secrets Of Meditation"(Y.S.E / Millennium Records), Atma is back in business with his brand new album, "Music Revolution", which will be released in summer 2010. Beside his trance projects, Atma works as music composer for commercial bands (house, techno, dance, pop, rock, hip hop..) and also as a film music producer. On the international scene he played at festivals and parties all around the world: Dubai (U.A.E), Germany, Swiss, Austria, Italy, Bulgaria, Romania, Macedonia, Serbia, Chile, Slovakia, Czech Rep, Poland, Hungary, Portugal, Russia, Usa, Greece, Turkey, Spain...

Talpa

Talpa a.k.a. Goran Juric was born on 22nd of July, 1982. The very first idea for this project he got in November 1999 attending the big techno/trance party "TraNSplant 2" in mega-club 'Paradiso' in Novi Sad, Serbia. Soon after starts the big and active work on music making and production inspired by original goa trance sound. Many tracks are compiled, production gets better and better and after 3 years of hard work he finally finds the sound that will become his main occupation in the upcoming period. Making contacts with Trance labels, record companies and artists around the world who showed a big interest in this project is the first big step in his career. His music finally gets its way to the audience. After thoughtful negotiations a decision is made: "SunDance records" from Australia. In the summer of 2002 they released two Talpa's tracks on the 'Vibraspirit 23' compilation: 'Kalashari' & 'Mandragor'. In the summer of 2003 one more track found its place on SunDance's release 'SunDaze'. It is a single called 'Talpania'. Talpa also released the album "The Art Of Being Non" with "SunDance Records". Apart from project Talpa, Goran works on one more project (currently without any working name) which goes deeply into downbeat music mixing it with psy trance and freestyle flavor...

Ace Ventura

Behind the Ace Ventura project is Yoni Oshrat - one of Israels biggest talents in electronic music, with a career on top of the scene, stretching for over a decade. Already from an early age Yoni was heavily influenced with music. He was born in a musical family with his father being a famous Israeli composer and song writer (for instance behind the Eurovision song "Halelujah"), and it was therefore no surprise that he went for a career in the sound-business; at first in the TV and movie-industry as a sound producer. After discovering the blooming trance-scene in the beginning of the nineties, he started DJ'ing and teamed up with his friend DJ Goblin to form the psychedelic trance project Children Of The Doc, which later changed name to PSYSEX. Together they released 3 critically-acclaimed full length albums on HOMmega Productons, and played a big part in establishing Israel as one of the most important trance-countries on the globe. After several years of intense touring, playing at some of the biggest parties and festivals worldwide, Yoni's taste moved more and more towards the slower, groovier side of music though, and from 2006 he took the decision to leave the Psysex project and form the two soloprojects SCHATSI and ACE VENTURA. With Schatsi he was quickly featured on labels like Hadshot and Mylo's Breastfed Recordings, and top DJ's like John Digweed played some of his material on numerous occasions. More attention was put into the Ace Ventura project though, and using a fusion of the hard, pumping dancefloor-oriented style from Psysex and the deeper, groovier influences of progressive trance, the Ace Ventura project became a big success, and in a matter of just a few releases, such as the now classic debut "Cardiac Arrest", he was already considered among the top producers on the progressive trance scene. After appearing on releases on labels like Flow, Domo, Echoes, Blue Tunes, Spintwist, HOMmega and Iboga Records he finally released his debut solo album "Rebirth" in 2007. It featured 9 tracks, including collaborations with Liquid Soul, Lish and Intelabeam, and was without a doubt one of the biggest releases of the year, which also resulted in Ace Ventura winning the Psytrance category at the Beatport Music Awards in 2008. About one year later the album was followed by a remix-album "Re:Boot", which contained two CD's with remixes by various progressive trance, house, electro house and techno artists - from Zen Mechanics, Sensient and Liquid Soul to Perfect Stranger, Fiord and Duca. This release, together with the release of "The Spark", the summer anthem remix of FREq's "Short Life Again" as well as a collaboration with the upcoming Israeli duo Quantize, also resulted in Ace Ventura winning the Psytrance category at the Beatport Music Awards in 2009, For the second year in a row. Despite playing all around the globe, at major events from Boom in Portugal, XXXPerience, Tribe and Universo Paralello in Brazil, Solstice in Japan, Glade in the UK ,Ozora in Hungary to Indian Spirit, Tshitraka, Antaris and Full Moon in Germany, Yoni isn't resting on the laurels. Summer 2009 included the second chapter in his "New Order" compilation series on HOMmega Records. The first chapter from 2007 was a huge success, and this time around the tracks were deeper and more techno-oriented, and featured new material from artists like Ticon, Liquid Soul, Riktam & Bansi, Ido Ophir and Miki Litvak - all previously unreleased, and handpicked by Ace Ventura. Another recent compilation was 'Digital beings', from Ace's second project 'Easy riders' which was released on Echoes records to great succes. Recent Ace ventura tracks which reached the number 1 spot at Beatport's psytrance chart were 'Baby boom', 'Sidewinder remix' & the Captain Hook remix to Ace's 'Genesis'. Other recent releases were the tracks 'In between','Connected','Dark matter', 'Judo Chop', 'Dr.Lupo', 'Digital beings' and remixes for Rocky ('Paper cut'), Liquid Soul ('Devotion') & MUte ('Mechanism'). These days work is underway on the debut Easy riders album, to be released soon on Echoes records, and of course on the long awaited second Ace ventura album, to be released on Iboga records by the end of 2011.

U-Recken

 

As a dedicated psychedelic artist U-Recken has managed through the years to capture the essence of psy music with structures, stories and melodies that touched thousands of ppl among us. With weekly performances around the globe, this powerful shaman is currently working on his next studio album to be released in 2010.
Along with a very special collaboration album featuring some of the biggest names in the psychedelic scenes. You can expect a long internal voyage which only U-Recken can provide, carrying you with his rhythmic stability and various percussive sounds woven with challenging psychedelic harmonies. U-Recken takes psy trance to its right place as intelligent music which uses the base and rhythm as a carrier for the message of light love and Eternal freedom of thought.
Yaniv Ben-Ari got into trance music in 1998, when he was 20 years old. He was born in Haifa, Israel, and was playing in rock bands since he was 14. Soon after that he was working as a music producer and sound engineer in recording studios in Israel. Yaniv also worked as a sound engineer at theater plays in New York and Great Britain. The long exposure to music drove him to start DJ-ing and organizing trance parties. After a while he realised that playing his own music was much more fun, so he started to write music, which was soon appreciated by Doof Records. His musical style has developed from harsh dark banging full on trance into a more melodical (yet still pumping) form of psytrance, which made Doof records decide to invite him into the rising Dooflex project.
